In M.Com., you can learn a variety of subject-specific and transferable abilities. It will educate you on how to critically analyze in-depth complicated managerial challenges methodically and innovatively and assess and evaluate research techniques and technical skills to make successful and ethical management decisions.

You'll study current mainstream theory and practical approaches along with a variety of alternative critical viewpoints, giving you the tools you need to satisfy the growing need for economics that can address and resolve real-world problems. You'll adopt an open-minded approach to economic difficulties.

A senior-level project in your final year will give you experience in problem-solving, evaluating strengths and limitations, and making appropriate decisions in a real-world, team-based environment. These modules will teach you about organizationally relevant financial management theories, techniques, and models, enabling you to determine how the financial management environment affects an organization's strategic position.


Use economic models to identify business risks and opportunities in complex financial environments; have a thorough understanding of and critically reflect on the contemporary business economics literature.

Apply basic techniques and fundamental ideas of micro and macroeconomics and integrate them from a managerial perspective.

Apply advanced theoretical economic concepts to improve decision-making processes in actual business environments.


A two-year master degree program which provides specialization in different field of commerce such as Statistics, Taxation, Marketing, Accounting and Finance, Banking, Insurance etc

Eligibility Criteria (Qualifying Exam)

Pass with 50% aggregate marks in Graduation (Commerce) or equivalent. Relaxation to reserved category students as per State Govt. norms.
(5% relaxation to North-East states and Sikkim candidates/ Defence Personnel and their Dependents/ Wards of Kashmiri Migrants)
